If you want to walk with me
I will welcome company
though I know, I know I’ll never be
the one you’re looking for
for the one that I adore
is a shadow on the blind
is a picture in my mind
and nothing more
Some say: impossible to miss
a mouth that never wished,
a heart that never
beat against a bone
oh yes, I know it never was
I know, it sounds obscene
I meet him and hold her in a dream
In a dream, in a dream
we walk meandering
streetlights stretch
past tracks that lead away
to the meadows that I know
from a thousand years ago
here I lie with my love
lie, lie, lie and lie... for a while
As I rise, I still see
this tableaux vividly
I try to keep it close
I try to keep anything
his back against the lawn
her fingers in my hair
their laugh between my teeth...
I try to keep it there
In a dream, in a dream
we walk meandering
streetlights stretch past
tracks that lead away
to the meadows that I know
from a thousand years ago
here I lie with my love
lie, lie, lie and lie for a while
In a dream, in a dream
we walk meandering
streetlights stretch past tracks
that lead away
to the meadows that I know
from a thousand years ago
here I lie with my love
In a dream, in a dream
our words are what they mean
whispering: let me stay
in the meadows that I know
from a thousand years ago
here I lie with my love
lie, lie, lie and lie... for a while
Deep, interesting, strong and emotional. Just a great work. Liz Harris will always have something strong, special and surprising in the best artistic way. risovic
Such a special album I struggle to think of what to say about it. At times I'm afraid or put off even listening to it and sometimes its the most comforting thing in the world. I got this from a vinyl code and I only listened to that physical copy of it the morning after the night my dog died. The first time I ever lost someone that meant the world to me and it was the first time I didn't cry to it. This album is beautiful and if youre reading this, you are loved memon_dayz
